No topic is off limits for your young author

Is your child into Star Wars? Or maybe they love Soccer? There is no topic off limits for a child's creativity. Studies have shown that writing is not only creative and stretches the imagination, but it can help us gain confidence in ourselves, help with coping skills, and teaches leadership by having us think "outside the box".
Children today need a healthy outlet to express themselves.
You can give your students the confidence to hone these skills.

Writing Topics for the "non-writer"
  • Favorite sports team and their winning (or loosing) game
  • Creating a Superhero
  • Creating a Monster
  • The story of their crazy invention!
Have fun creating with your young authors today!

This winter has been very exciting for Writer's Room Productions. Not only have we continued to grow our showcases to more schools and care groups, but our podcast is fast approaching 1000 downloads!

With this growth we want to be sure we are still sending the right message of confidence and creativity to students from all walks of life. With the help of our friends from Spire, we have been able to find a new logo and program name that will carry this message even further.

We will now be offering different StorySpace programs for different groups of students. StorySpace programs will continue to ignite confidence in our student authors as they share their imagination with the community.

We were over the moon in December when Spire , a graphic design community, reached out to us about donating their talents to our nonprofit for branding and logo design! Their team meet with us at the new Wayfare location in Fullerton and spent the day creating, imaging, and talking about how amazing our student authors can be.
We are now preparing and getting excited about launching our new branding design!  We've partnered with so many amazing communities this year. Thank you for seeing the potential in the stories our authors have to tell.

We want to thank ALLKiind  for donating to our program during the holiday season! They are a clothing company with it's heart in the right place, always trying to partner with local organizations to spread kindness to all. Their clothes are full of inspiring ideas and are ethically and responsibly made.

By Amber Robins August 22, 2016
We had a great time connecting with over 100 schools in the LAUSD 10th District, over the weekend. We love meeting new Title 1 schools in the neighborhood.
Our Give Back program allows us to bring our program to schools that would never have had the option for an assembly program. There are fully funded schools out there with more to give.
By them agreeing to pay more, they get more , then we can give more! Schools all over are helping each other out with this program.

Give Back Schools Receive:
  • Authors Showcase for the whole school
  • Story Rocket podcast stories!
  • Digital creative writing curriculum
Title 1 School then Receives:
  • Free Authors Showcase!
We love telling Title 1 schools that there is an option for them too. We believe that children from all walks of live have a story to tell. You can also help tell that story. Check out our DONOR page to find out how you too can create a lasting memory in a child's life. What story will you help tell?
